Personal Experience
Kelly Gunterman, a native of Bremen, Indiana and a graduate of Austin Peay State University where he played on the tennis team. Having spent nearly 30 years in the tennis business where he owned and operated the Gunterman Tennis Schools, in Vermont, Florida, Georgia, Bermuda and Jamaica. The founder of Tennis without Borders a non-profit that helps kids learn tennis in developing nations, he now sits on several boards of local non-profits.
As a serial entrepreneur Kelly has owned over 10 businesses in his career, from tennis schools to a pizza shop to a postal store. He’s well connected in the business community through his volunteer work with the North Raleigh Rotary, Non-Profits that he serves, and his network of business owners in the Triangle built through years of business ownership.
Kelly bought businesses from VR Business Brokers and sold his most recent business through VR before joining as a Business Broker. He brings his experience in small business to business owners in the Triangle and surrounding markets.
