The Selling Process

The husband and wife who started this business had high hopes and tons of energy when they did a significant build out and started this salon with only the wife running a single chair.  Nearly a decade later, she had build a team of five salon professionals who ran the day to day business and the owner was ready to retire.

She turned to VR Business Brokers to confidentially market and sell her business through a controlled process which yielded dozens of interested buyer parties and multiple offers.  Every buyer signed a confidentiality agreement and the stylists were unaware of the sale until the deal was done in order to protect the business.

Ultimately the owner selected the buyer with the best offer and the deal was completed with a purchase agreement, bill of sale, new lease, and disbursement of funds to the owner with a short training period.  The buyers were excited to add a second salon to their growing salon empire!
